Programs, Calendar, drafts, and History are four separate things. Keeping them separate is what stops edits rewriting your past.

> **In short.** Program, Calendar, workout draft, and History are four separate records. The program is the plan, the calendar is when each planned day happens, a draft is a session in progress, and History is what was saved. Keeping them apart is why editing a program never rewrites past training, and why a missing session is usually just sitting in a different one of the four.

If something looks missing, the answer is usually that you are looking at the
wrong one of these four.

  - **Program** **The plan.** Weeks, days, exercises, set targets, and prescription detail.

  - **Calendar** **The schedule.** Which planned day should happen on which date.

  - **Workout draft** **In progress.** The record while you are mid-session and have not saved yet.

  - **History** **What happened.** The completed record after a workout or cardio activity
    is saved.

## Why the separation matters

A plan can be edited before it is trained. A completed record describes what
happened. Keeping those separate means editing a program next month leaves the
training you logged last month intact.

This is also why the workout logger asks you to record real results. The
prescription is the plan. The log is the evidence.

> **Troubleshooting a missing session.** Check whether it was **scheduled** (Calendar) or **completed and saved**
> (History). A session you started but never saved is still a draft, and drafts
> stay out of History.
