Where Method is stronger
One price covers the coaching workflow. The Coach Workspace is $19.99 per month in USD on the date checked. Check-in templates, intake forms, form check review, encrypted messaging, and publish review all come with it. In Everfit, forms and the multi-week builder start at Pro. Group chat starts at Studio, and payments cost extra on any plan.
Prescriptions are written per set, and you see changes before the client does. Each set carries a type, exact, range, or AMRAP reps, RIR or RPE with half values, rest, tempo, and notes. A load can be a percentage of another set in the same session. Editing a published program changes nothing for the client until you publish again. Publish review lists every change before it lands, and offers "Publish and reschedule" when training days changed.
Form check review happens on the frame. Either side can start a form check. The coach pauses the video, draws on the paused frame, leaves a note at that timestamp, and sends a summary. A workspace sets an allowance per week or month, with a per-client override. Everfit's pages describe video comments per exercise. Drawing and timestamps are not described on the pages checked.
Check-ins come from your own questions, and messages stay with the participants. A template holds written, yes or no, choice, rating, number, pain or injury, measurement, and photo questions. Templates publish as revisions, so a sent check-in keeps its questions. Each client gets a rhythm, weekly on chosen weekdays or every N days. Each message carries a fresh data key. Other workspace members, including owners and admins, do not inherit access to a coach's conversation.
Where Everfit is stronger
Platforms. Coaches get a web app plus iOS and Android apps. Clients get iOS from 13.0, Android, Apple Watch from watchOS 9.0, and Wear OS. Method's coach side is web and its client app is iPhone on iOS 26 or later. If any client is on Android, or you coach from your phone, Everfit is the workable choice.
A free tier and a longer trial. Starter is free forever for up to 5 clients. It includes the workout builder, a custom exercise library, metrics, tasks, and inbox messaging. Everfit's feature pages describe a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. Method's trial is 14 days, and client invitations start with the first payment.
A fast builder with percent-of-1RM auto progression. Everfit's builder has drag and drop, copy and paste across weeks, and premade templates. A beta AI Workout Builder turns notes or PDFs into workouts. It assigns weights from a percentage of 1RM using the Epley method and adjusts them as clients log new PRs. The library ships with over 1,000 exercises. Method has no percent-of-tested-1RM prescription and no auto-progression.
The whole business in one place. Payments & Packages sells subscriptions, one-time packages, promo codes, invoicing, and refunds, powered by Stripe, in 17 countries. Habits, sleep, water, steps, macros, and meal plans cover the non-training side. Autoflow assigns programs and messages to groups. Integrations reach Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin, Oura, and Zapier. Studio adds group chat and broadcasts, Pro carries your logo and colours, and Enterprise offers a white-label app. Method has none of these.
Pricing, read carefully
Method has one plan. The Coach Workspace is $19.99 per month in USD on 2026-09-07, with 5 clients and 1 workspace member included. Each additional client is $2.00 per month and each additional member is $9.99 per month. Annual billing charges 10 months for 12, so the base is $199.90 per year. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Everfit prices by tier and client count, in USD on 2026-09-07. Starter is free for up to 5 clients. Pro starts at $19 per month for 5 clients, or $16 per month billed annually, then steps up in blocks. On client payments, the help center lists a $9 per month platform fee. Processing adds $0.30 + 3.15% per US card transaction.
The worked example is monthly, in USD, on the date checked. It assumes Everfit on the smallest Pro block that fits, with no add-ons. Method's additional clients are at the monthly rate.
| Clients | Method | Everfit |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | $19.99 per month | $0 on Starter, or $19 per month on Pro 5 |
| 15 | $39.99 per month | $49 per month on Pro 20 |
| 30 | $69.99 per month | $75 per month on Pro 35 |
Billed annually, Everfit's rates for the same blocks are $16, $41, and $63 per month. Method's annual billing charges 10 months for 12 on every line, so the base is $199.90 per year and extra clients are discounted the same way.
At 5 clients Everfit is free and Method costs money. At 15 and 30 clients Method is a few dollars cheaper. Everfit Pro at those prices includes forms, habits, macros, branding, and unlimited teammates. Add Payments & Packages and the Everfit bill grows by $9 plus processing.
Who should pick which
Pick Everfit if you need Android or a coach app on your phone. Pick it if you sell packages through the app, coach nutrition or habits, or run groups. Pick it for percent-of-1RM auto progression or a free start with 5 clients.
Pick Method if the program is the centre of your coaching. Pick it for per-set RIR or RPE targets and a review of every change before it reaches a client's calendar. Pick it if you mark up lifts on the frame and want one price. See Method for coaches and the coaching docs.
What Method does not do
Method has no Android app, no coach mobile app, and no iPad app. It does not process payments between a coach and their clients, and it has no invoicing, packages, or client subscriptions. There is no client booking, nutrition, macros, meal plans, habits, steps, or sleep tracking. Coaching is one to one, with no group programs, group chat, broadcasts, or leaderboards. There is no marketplace, program sales, AI programming, auto-progression, custom-branded app, or integration beyond Apple Health and Apple Watch. Method does not generate programs, and the web app does not log workouts.
