Advanced prescriptions and load adjustments
Intensity, rest, tempo, supersets, notes, and percent loading. The fields Advanced tracking unlocks, and when each earns its keep.
Advanced tracking adds prescription fields Basic mode leaves out. Use them when the intent of a set matters as much as the exercise and rep target.
The fields
- Intensity
RIR, RPE, or a percentage, for when the athlete needs a specific effort level.
- Rest
Planned rest, for when the recovery window is part of the prescription.
- Tempo
Lift speed, when it is a meaningful technique or training cue.
- Load adjustment
Progress load, reps, or intensity across weeks without rebuilding the exercise each time.
- Supersets and notes
Group exercises that belong together, and attach notes for setup, technique, substitutions, or constraints.
Advanced becomes a requirement
A program using intensity, rest timers, tempo, or percent-based loading requires Advanced tracking. Method uses that requirement to stop athletes switching into Basic mode while active content still depends on those fields.
