Exercise library
Keep exercise records accurate so movements stay easy to find and analytics can attribute your sets correctly.
Exercise records are reused everywhere: builders, the workout logger, history, and analytics. Time spent keeping them accurate pays back every time you search for a movement.
What a record carries
- Name and aliases
Aliases are how you find the same movement under a different gym's name. Add them liberally.
- Target muscles
Primary and secondary targets. These drive muscle coverage analytics. An exercise with no targets is counted separately as unattributed.
- Equipment
Used for filtering and for matching against the equipment in your training setup.
- Instructions
Setup and technique notes, shown when you open the movement mid-session.
Finding and bulk editing
- Search begins once the query is long enough to be meaningful
- Filters narrow a large library by movement metadata
- Templates and CSV import speed up bulk setup
- Editing a record improves every future use of that movement
