Common questions
The things that most often look broken in Method but are working as intended.
A workout I did is missing from History
A session you started but never saved is still a draft, and drafts stay out of History. Check whether the resume bar is still showing on iOS. If it is, the session is unsaved. See Planned vs completed.
My program is missing from the calendar
A program has to be active to appear on the calendar. Building and saving a program leaves it unscheduled. Activate it from the program page.
History only goes back 30 days
That is the free account window. Method Pro keeps your full history. Older records stay stored and reappear when Pro is active.
I cannot switch to Basic tracking
Active or scheduled content requires Advanced fields. Method names the program or schedule holding the requirement. Archive, complete, or unschedule it first. See Basic vs Advanced tracking.
No load is suggested for an exercise
Smart loads need Advanced tracking enabled and enough recent history for that movement. Method leaves the field blank until it has both.
A muscle shows zero sets even though I trained it
Muscle coverage reads the target muscles on each exercise record. If the exercise has no targets set, its sets are reported separately as unattributed. Fix the record in the exercise library.
Pro is missing after reinstalling the app
Use Restore purchases on the iOS subscription screen. If the subscription was bought on web, sign in with the same account. See Subscription and billing.
My cardio distance is wrong
Correct it on the summary page before saving. Pace recalculates from the corrected distance. See Track cardio.
Editing a program changed nothing in my history
That is intended. Completed records keep the prescription they were trained with, so program edits leave past training alone.
